Ebenezer also offers residents monthly presentations on health topics, ballroom dance classes, computer classes, and more. Our staff strives to offer classes that will fit every resident's wishes and interests, which is why we partner with so many outside sources, such as the Northern Clay Center and the MacPhail Center for Music. Ebenezer's lifelong learning program is an assortment of coordinated arts and education programs designed to nurture growth and creativity in seniors. Lifelong learning is the process of keeping a person's mind, spirit, and body engaged due to the desire to actively pursuing knowledge and experience. At Ebenezer, we believe that learning and growing helps everyone at every stage of life, and for the elderly population, the benefits from learning new things are endless. Research has shown that when given the opportunity to express their feelings and discover new passions/skills, seniors can experience vibrant living and artistic growth, as well as improved mental and physical health. Not only does our lifelong learning help our residents stay connected to their local world, but to a world beyond that, as well.
